Nose Picker!!

I am a cuddler of a dog. Don't get me wrong--I'm macho when I need to be. I can kick the butt of any dog on the street...which I do whenever I see them...I'm not a big fan of dogs...but I digress...my point is, I'm tough, but I'm a lover of Man. People are great...especially my Mom. I enjoy sitting on her lap--I've seen dogs on TV do it...of course, they are about 40 pounds smaller than me, but she's tough--she can take it (you know, cuz she lifts all that furniture). Anyway--I like to cuddle. I also like to give her kisses...and I like to nibble. You know...just a little...nibble on her fingers, a lot...and I really really like to chew her nose. Just out of the blue--it surprises her a little when my bottom teeth wedge right up her nostril, but I think she likes it...I mean, she acts like she doesn't...but I think she does. She likes it...she really really likes it.

Superballs (this post is safe for children)

Ohhhhh....I love Superballs. They are great toys to play catch with. I have lots of toys, but Superballs are my favorite. First of all, they fit in my mouth, so I can hold them in there and just chew on them like a cow chewin' its cud. I don't know a lot about cows, though I did have a run it with one once...but that's another story, suffice it to say, I like to just kind of gum on my Superballs. The best thing about them is that you just never know where they are going to go...mom is going to throw it towards the bathroom, but it bounces off the wall and I'm all like "where's it going? where's it going? over here-over there? over here? over there?" Ohhhhh!!! It's so very exciting, I love superballs! They must be very fancy toys cuz Mom says they cost 2 quarters...that sounds like a lot of money. Plus, when Mom gets sick of catch (???!!!) I can play by myself on the tile--I drop the ball and it just goes crazy and I can chase it all over. Mom doesn't seem to like Superball game because the balls go under stuff and I can't get to them. I try...but my paws can't reach...so Mom ends up having to lift up all the furniture and I have to go find them...She tells me to go play with my other toys...but they are not as exciting...so I find that if I whine enough, she eventuallly gets up and gets them for me. I keep telling her it helps her stay in shape.

Beachin' It

I'm a swimmin' dog. Big fan of water...you throw it, I'll catch it. I find it keeps my body svelte and my fur shiny...and, well, to be frank, the salt water tends to keep the fleas off and I kind of have an embarrassing issue in that department. Hey--lay off--it could be worse--trust me--look at my mom--HELLO--bag of issues there. Anyway, you can't keep me out of the water. I particularly enjoy digging for sea creatures--specifically snails...little snails, big snails...no matter. I like them both. Mom says I must have a little poodle in me cuz I love those escargots so much. We play a game where she collects tons of small snails and throws them at me and I catch and eat them (I hope no one from PETA is reading this). I also enjoy finding my own snails...here is a picture of me digging for my own snails...mom didn't realize dogs could hold their breath...but I'm a tough dog.

Talk Supe

Well, I'm a smart dog...but I don't have opposobale thumbs...so my mom is going to write some stuff down for me. She always thought she'd be transcribing (I have a good vocabulary for a dog) for a kid...but she's on the long-term schedule for that right now...so instead, she thought she'd get some practice writing by writing some stuff down for me. Which is kind of sad...cuz...well, I'm a dog, so I have somewhat limited activity. For the most part, I eat, sleep, eat stuff out of the trash when mom's not home, sit on the couch and stare out the window and watch--well, just "outside stuff"--and play a LOT of catch. I love catch. All kinds of catch. I'm worn out just thinking about catch. I'll have to tell you about that on a later posting...after all...i'm a dog, this is going to get old pretty quickly.
